Post-Stroke Fatigue
Fatigue is one of the most common symptoms after stroke. Post-stroke fatigue does not always improve with rest and is not necessarily related to recent activity. So it is not like typical tiredness. You might experience post-stroke fatigue after a mild or more severe stroke. More information can be found on the Stroke Association website
Multiple Sclerosis Fatigue
Fatigue is one of the most common symptoms of multiple sclerosis.
It's described as a feeling of exhaustion that's out of all proportion to any activity you may have been doing.
Managing fatigue is based around taking steps to increase your energy levels and then learning how to use that energy in the most efficient way. More information can be found on the Multiple Sclerosis Trust website
Fatigue and Parkinson's
Up to half of people with Parkinson’s say they experience fatigue.
People who are newly diagnosed with Parkinson’s are just as likely to experience fatigue as those who have had the condition for some time. In fact, it may be one of the earliest symptoms you have. More information can be found on the Parkinson's UK website.
